Although the service was great and the breakfast was very good I can only give 3 stars to this 4 star hotel. It is in an extremely loud area both inside and out. The front door is flanked on both sides by outdoor seating from different restaurants. The street noise was bad until very late at night. The cleaning crews start yelling by 7 am. Our view was a wall overlooking the awnings of a local restaurant. Over priced and very noisy. If you need to sleep, find a different place.
This hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain, with everything else you want to see in Rome all within walkable distance, plus innumerable bars and restaurants.
The staff are really helpful and will try to solve any problems you have, like we had with our aircon, lack of coat hangers, and the safe being locked when we arrived.
The one reason it didn't get 5 stars is the rooms aren't very sound proof so you'll hear cleaner's and workmen banging from early in the morning.
But it has some really thoughtful touches - massage chair, comfy lounge, arcade games - all free of charge.
Oh and breakfast is excellent too!
We booked a room for 5 days, the flights were canceled due to the war, we contacted Hotel white, we were told that as soon as we sent them the confirmation of the flights cancelation they would refund us the money. We sent countless messages, emails, called and they just don't help us, we sent everything they asked of us and now they don't answer us at all. Be careful!!!
I was extremely pleased with this hotel. Yes, I have to say the rooms are a bit smaller than I'm used to. But , the service, the attention was impeccable. I'm handicapped, I use an electric scooter, and they went out of their way to accommodate me in a room that served my needs. Nothing extra.
Breakfast was more than I expected. It was definitely not continental. Fresh squeezed orange juice and a great assortment of Danishes, eggs, bacon, waffles etc....
I will definitely book this hotel again next time. And the location is fantastic 5 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. I was not disappointed in the least.

It was a traumatic experience that left us feeling vulnerable, stressed, and fatigued. However, amidst the chaos and distress, there was one person who went above and beyond to restore our faith in humanity and ensure our stay in Rome would not be overshadowed by this unfortunate incident. That person is Ornella, a remarkable employee at Hotel Elite.
Upon our arrival at the hotel, Ornella, the front desk clerk, demonstrated a level of compassion and empathy that is truly commendable. She not only empathized with our distress but took immediate action to ensure our first impression of Rome would not be marred by the unfortunate incident. Ornella promptly contacted her manager and arranged an upgrade to a higher star hotel, completely unbeknownst to us. This act of kindness and generosity overwhelmed us during a time when we felt helpless and fatigued from the ordeal.
Throughout our stay, the hotel staff continued to exhibit exceptional hospitality and professionalism. Every member of the staff made it their mission to ensure that all guests felt welcomed and valued. They displayed genuine care and attentiveness, going out of their way to ensure our needs were met. It was evident that they took great pride in their work and genuinely enjoyed making guests feel comfortable.
Our overall experience with the hotel has been nothing short of wonderful. Beyond the stylish facilities and comfortable accommodations, it is the exceptional service and kindness of Ornella and the other staff that really stands out.
